Reliable Project Update: Main Street at Waugh Chapel

Crofton ConstructionIf you are like most people in the Crofton area, you have probably been wondering what has been happening at that site on Rt. 3 just north of Riedel Road.  This new commercial site, developed by Streetsense out of Bethesda, MD, has started taking shape in the past few months and excitement is brewing as rumors are spreading of a Buffalo Wild Wings being one of the new tenants to the Rt. 3 corridor. There’s no confirmation of anything just yet, but speculation about new tenants is always fun. Plus, who wouldn’t love a Buffalo Wild Wings in Crofton?

Reliable Contracting Co., Inc. is the site subcontractor for Waverly Construction & Management Co., Inc. out of Baltimore, MD. To date Reliable has completed 53% of the nearly $2 Million subcontract. Reliable’s portion of the project consists of clearing and grading the site as well as installing erosion controls and storm water management systems. Reliable will be installing concrete sidewalk, curbs, and aprons throughout the site. We’ll also be re-curbing for the existing Rt. 3 islands. Reliable’s paving crews will finish the project with Hot Mix Asphalt from Reliable Contracting’s Waugh Chapel Plant to include SHA and County specified improvements to Rt. 3 North and Riedel Road. We’re excited about continuing and finishing up this commercial project for the Crofton area and can’t wait to update you when everything is done and ready to go. Keep an eye on the blog for more information as we move into the final phases of this project.
