Reliable Donates to Shop with a Cop

Shop with a CopHolidays can be a particularly difficult time for those who are struggling with the current economic crisis. We at Reliable Contracting are aware of this fact and excited to announce that we are aiding Charles County’s 6th annual “Shop With A Cop” program that helps children in need.

The event will take place on the morning of December 7th. Children are chosen based on need by local schools and churches. On the morning of the event, they will arrive at the Waldorf Elks Lodge where they will eat breakfast before a day of shopping. Each child will then receive $200 to shop for necessities such as clothes and shoes at the Waldorf Wal-Mart. Each child will receive a full police escort to the shopping event, complete with lights and sirens! At the end of a busy morning of shopping, the children will return to the lodge to eat lunch while their gifts are wrapped by volunteers from the area. Kids will go home at the end of lunch with full stomachs and the promise of a holiday with lots of gifts to unwrap.

The program wants to be able to help even more children this year than it has in the past. Reliable is proud to be donating to the cause and giving children the ability to have a happy and warm holiday season. If you or your business is interested in donating to the cause, you can mail a donation to:
