Reliable Participates In Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Is there anything better than being out and about on an autumn day? Make it even better by joining Reliable in the Walk to END Alzheimer’s in historic Annapolis. Since Alzheimer’s is currently the 6th leading cause of death in the world, chances are, you know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease. Do your part to help find a cure and end this epidemic by walking with us on Saturday, October 19th.  By participating or donating for the cause, you help the Alzheimer’s Association raise awareness, advocacy, and most importantly funds for patient assistance and research. Reliable is participating in the Anne Arundel County Walk, which is two miles of mostly sidewalk with awesome views of Historic Annapolis. The day of the walk, registration begins at 9 AM and the opening ceremony and walk begin at 10 AM at Susan Campbell Park, 1 Dock Street, Annapolis, MD.

If you’re not interested in doing the walk, there are other great ways to support the cause.  You can donate online by clicking on the link provided at the bottom of the page. There is no minimum donation so the amount is totally up to you.

Another way to donate is to purchase one of our “Team Reliable” shirts. On the front is the “Team Reliable” logo and on the back is a picture of boots with the phrase “These Boots Are Made for Walking.” The shirts are available in Safety Green, Gray, and Violet. There is a suggested donation of $15.00 per shirt. All of the profits for the shirts will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. Please have all shirt orders in by October 18th and expect them to be ready for pick up around November 4th.Screen shot 2013-10-09 at 12.05.33 PM
